Can CBD Oil Provide Instant Relief From Pain?

Can CBD Oil Provide Instant Relief From Pain?

Are you tired of swallowing pills to relieve muscle or body pain? Here's a more effective way to cure your pain; a natural way. Yes, it's CBD. Before you let your apprehensions take over your decision, you may want to know that CBD is a non-psychoactive compound having proven medicinal benefits. CBD oil can be used to minimize severe effects of Neuropathic and chronic pain.

Facts Supporting CBD's Pain Relieving Characteristic
According to National Centers for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), CBD can cure chronic pain if used in the proper dosage. CBD trials on animals back this theory. However, more human trials may require establishing the findings and claiming CBD's therapeutic potential. It has also been found that CBD can help restore normal sleep in people experiencing insomnia.

CBD's Role in Curing Pain

Neuropathic Pain
Damage to our Somatosensory Nervous System is the reason for Neuropathic Pain. A 2017 research establishes CBD's role in curing Neuropathic pain in humans. The findings came after carrying out 11 monitored trials on 1,219 patients.

However, the 2018 Cochrane review suggests that the potential harm of CBD can be greater than its potential benefits. The conclusion came after conducting nearly 16 studies and research over 1,750 participants.

Arthritis Pain
A 2016 CBD study conducted by The European Journal of Pain where the researchers applied CBD topical gels to rats suffering from arthritis found a decrease in inflammation and signs of pain in rats, without any side effects. People use CBD oil for arthritis pain, but we may need more human studies to confirm CBD's role in curing arthritis.

Chronic Pain
According to the Experimental Medicine Journal, CBD can cure chronic pain and inflammation. The researchers also found that users can experience CBD's benefits without increasing the dosage.

CBD Side-Effects - Are they common?
No. Not every CBD user experiences the compound's side effects. However, some do. The adverse effects could be due to increasing dosage or following an unhealthy diet.
Here are some of general CBD's side-effects observed in users -
•    Fatigue
•    Nausea or upset stomach
•    Irritability
•    Dry mouth
•    Reduced appetite

How much CBD should I use?
FDA has not approved CBD for medical use. Neither has it mentioned dosage limits. However, medical experts have some suggestions:
•    The CBD extract should be mixed with carrier oils like MCT oil.
•    Start with a few milligrams of CBD in the sublingual form twice a day.
•    If you experience no benefits after trying CBD isolate or CBD + other cannabinoids for a few weeks, maybe you should look for some alternatives.
•    In case you experience side-effects within a few days of using CBD, do not continue usage.

CBD is a non-psychoactive compound. It is believed to be one of the most suitable natural remedies for illnesses based on its medicinal properties.
