GET CBD WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION!

Great news for CBD lovers in Australia!

Laws regulating the sale and consumption of CBD in Australia are getting less stringent. From
2021, you could buy CBD products without a prescription across the country. Australia's
Ministry of Health and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has agreed to reschedule
CBD from Schedule 4 to Schedule 3, making it easier for natives to purchase and procure CBD
products.

The new amendment in the law will take effect from June 1, 2021.

HOW MANY PEOPLE FAVOURED THIS DECISION?

Nearly 5,409 people had submitted their testimony, out of which 80% of the submissions
demanded rescheduling of CBD from Schedule 4 to Schedule 3.

AMOUNT OF CBD ALLOWED IN MEDICINES WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION

Pharmacists can provide medicines containing at least 98% CBD and enter the Australian
Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). Adults aged 18 years and above can purchase CBD
medicines without a prescription.

Australian CBD Market Is Likely To Boom In The Coming Years.

Earlier, Australian laws classified CBD oil as a Schedule 4 drug, which means one could only
buy CBD if prescribed by a doctor. The availability was next to impossible on Australian beauty
counters. However, with the rescheduling of CBD, the availability is no more an issue. We may
witness a boom in the Australian CBD market, offering products related to skincare and food,
hair, sleep aids, and medicine.
